상황 1)

문제를 해결하고 다시 연락을 주겠다는 보험 회사

 

"We apologize for any inconvenience this delay causes(이번 지연으로 인해 생기는 불편함에 죄송합니다) and will send a follow up message as soon as the issue has been resolved(문제가 해결되는 즉시 follow up 메시지를 드리겠습니다). Thank you for your patience as we resolve this matter and correct the medical plan premiums.

->이 문제가 해결되면 추가적으로 다시 연락 드리겠습니다와 같이 추가적으로 무언가를 할 때 사용 가능

 

 

상황 2)

답이 안 와서 확인 차 연락하기

I wanted to([워닛 투]~하려고 연락드립니다) follow up on the status(상황) of this request(요청).

Thanks,"

 

->remind하거나 확인차 연락/ 재촉할 때 사용 가능

(Did you see my email?, Are you still working on the request?->공격적으로 들림)

 

 

상황 3)

상대방이 한 말에 덧붙여 추가 정보 주기

 

"Hi All,

I just wanted to follow up on Jason's email below(제이슨 이메일에 덧붙여 추가 내용을 보냅니다). Please be aware that unless you make a reservation to come into the office(유의하시기 바랍니다/ 회사에 오기 위해 예약을 하지 않으면), you are not allowed to enter the office(회사에 들어오지 못 합니다). I will send confirmation emails to anyone who has requested aceess through ~~. If you need assistance, there is a link in Jason's email below on how to make a reservation.

- I think we should follow up on his suggestions;(우리는 그의 제안에 대해 다시 연락(follow up)해봐야 한다) it sounds reasonable(일리가 있는 제안이었다).

- I wanted to follow up on the status of this request. 이 요청의 업데이트 상황에 대해 연락(follow up)합니다.

- Following Up on [Position Title] Application

e.g. Following up on Data Analyst Application

인터뷰 후에 연락이 오지 않아 합격 여부에 대해 연락보낼 때, 이메일 제목으로 사용 가능

 

<Follow up with + 수단> ~으로 후속 조치하다

<Follow up with + 사람> ~에게 후속 조치하다

You should follow up on your letter with a phone call(전화로 그 편지에 대해서 연락(follow up)해야 한다).

Did you follow up with them?(그들과 연락(follow up)했어?/이미 연락을 했었는데 추가적으로 연락을 해야할 때, 상대방의 답을 기다리고 있는데 안 와서 재촉할 때)
